CNY

Chinese New Year or Spring Festival is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is sometimes called the "Lunar New Year".. Apart from that,. CNY is a time for family reunions, lion dance,, firecrackers, mahjong, mandarin oranges and giving or collecting ang pow..hmmmm any ang pau for me???

I heard that the celebration of CNY is not all freewheeling fun though, as there are taboos and beliefs, some of which are spiritual in nature, that need to be observed and this normally practices by the olders.. For example no one is allowed to sweep the floor on the first day of the New Year as it is considered unlucky; that one would accidently sweep away one's good luck and fortune if they do so….

Jeans..

I bought my first pair of Levi’s brand jeans about 7 years ago and I’ve been hooked ever since…. I guess Levi’s jeans is one of the affordable jeans compare to others branded jeans. A pair of levi’s jeans can be bought between RM100.00 – RM250.00. According to Guinness World Records cites, the Gucci "Genius Jeans" as the most expensive jeans in the world..hmmmm.. it doesn’t matter how much does it cost actually as long as we have the $$$ and we like the jeans...

Manila trip

I'm looking forward for my manila trip next week (18-22 Feb). I've been to manila 2 years ago and i really like it especially shopping ...coz there are huge malls all over the greater Manila area..but sometimes often very crowded , noisy and they are clean as well.. its depends on which areas u shops actually :)..hmmm there's goes my money for shopping.... will go to SM malls ( they have lost of SM Malls eg SM Mall of Asia, SM Sta Messa etc. ) , Greenhillss, Divisoria (168 Mall)...

If you could change one thing about your life, what would it be?

What do you want to change or do you want to change it if given the chance to do it? Some people may make many mistakes or experienced more devistating heartache than anyone should bear, but all of that has made who we are today... For me, I kind of like myself the way I am. If things had been easier I wouldn’t have the empathy I have and I wouldn’t know that I am strong and a survivor...

Thailand

I have the chances travel to Thailand last year. Thailand is very interesting places to visit. We stayed in Khao San Road area (Bang Lumphu District) which is similar to Peltaling Street in KL. This area is suitable for budget traveler due to the large number of cheap hotels and also gueast houses. Shoppers can bargain and u can get a good prices if u really know how to bargain.

Recently, i went to kudansang with my cousins for a weekend trip. Kundasang is 2hrs drive from kota kinabalu. Our journey start with having our breakfast fried 'mee tuaran"at Tamparuli Town. The famous shop is next to BSN.

Then after that, we stop by at National Park...The national park offers stunning view to the magnificent and mystical mountain...


Next we went to Kg . Luanti, Ranau for a 'fish massage'. It is very intresting kind of massage and the fishes is so big and so many of them...Sometimes the do bite u and might tickles ... like my cousins.. she laughs and laughs.... Fo more information pls go to this website..

Happy new year 2010

Pheww..time flies so fast....now its already 2010 and in few months time it will be Chinese New Year and of course Advent...My new year resolution??? Well i don't have...should i make any changes? I don't want to pressure myself..i just want to be me and happy ..:) Let just move forward and don't look back...what about yours?
